Organic Blanched Peanuts
These organic blanched pPeanuts have been plunged into hot water to remove the outer skin. This makes them sweeter and creamier than our organic paleskin peanuts which still contain the reddish skin.
Other varieties of nut are often preferred to the humble peanut, but their nutritional content might convince you otherwise.
Peanuts are actually not nuts at all, but the edible seed of a tuber which grows underground. Despite growing differently from other nuts, they have the same classification because of their nutritional content.

Cooking with Blanched Roasted Peanuts
Blitz into peanut sauce and dollop over rice, quinoa or veggies, add to a soup, use for baking or eat them just as they are.

Peanut Butter Recipe
Blitz 2 cups of raw peanuts in a processor for 4-5 minutes. You’ll see the transformation from crumbs, to a dry ball, to a thick paste and then to a runnier paste – just stop when it looks like the right consistency for you. Then add 1-2 tbsp oil and a pinch of salt and mix.
It's far healthier, tastier and cheaper than store-bought peanut butter in my opinion. Keep this in the fridge though as it doesn’t have any preservatives. It should keep well for a good few weeks.
