This exquisite Organic Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea originates from the Indian Putharjhora tea garden. Our Earl Grey is flavoured with Italian Bergamot oil and delicate, Egyptian marigold petals.

Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea

Earl Grey is a black tea which has been flavoured with bergamot oil, taken from the rind of citrus fruit.

When brewed, both the tea and oil infuse into the water, giving the liquid that beautiful orange colour and distinct, aromatic flavour.

The black tea in this earl grey originates from the Indian Putharjhora tea garden. The estate maintains an excellent composting system, providing nutrients to the tea bushes. 

Bergamot oil from Italy is added to this tea, along with delicate marigold petals from Egypt. 

How to Brew Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea 

Place 2 tsp tea in a strainer, pour in hot water and steep for 3-5 minutes.

Tea-riffic blend

The good Earl himself would have been impressed with the quality of this light, citrusy brew were he not long dead. Thankfully I am still alive and enjoying this delicious blend of black tea, bergamot and (inexplicably) marigold leaves.

Not heavily perfumed and all the better for it. Does not stew and turn bitter. A lovely light Earl Grey.
